BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND THE DAY WILL COME WHEN OTHERS WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO BELIEVE YOU
All 90s kids must have seen the episodes of The Lion King when they were young. The movie shows a true relationship of father-son, best friends, king and his kingdom and mother-son. The story is filled with a lot of drama, action, etc.
It shows the journey of a cub Simba who takes birth to a King Mufasa and the journey included some adventures and lessons and a happy ending. Simba is influenced from his father and his lessons, got the traits of his mother and had best friends like Timon, Pumba, Nala, etc.
A story does not make characters but characters make a story. And this story has some interesting characters which everybody needs to know before watching the movie.
- MUFASA
Mufasa is the king of Pride Lands. He is a wise, respectful
and diligent ruler. He is also a caring father and a great role model for
Simba. Mufasa always understands his responsibilities and sacrifices that had to make for his family. He always made sure that his family is safe and his son Simba can learn some great lessons from him. Mufasa was a great king and a true father figure.
Not everyone can be a king, and there are certainly only few great ones.
- SIMBA
Simba is the son of Mufasa, who was destined to rule the
Pride Lands, as a king. He was rather adventurous and highly admired his
father. The whole concept of movie is about the journey of Simba, since when he was born to when he was declared as a King. He had friends and he develops a romantic relationship with his childhood best friend Nala. Simba was guided and supported by Timon and Pumba (his friends).
- SARABI
Where would Simba be without his mother? Sarabi is a great
mother and a dependable supporter of her son’s journey. She is loyal, caring
and considerate and she develops these traits into her son, Simba. Sarabi was a great mother and always protected her son particularly when it comes the time for Simba to fight Scar for the throne.
- TIMON AND PUMBA:
Their problem free philosophy helped the cub to forget his worries. Timon and Pumba were inseparable.
Timon was a problem solver, quick thinker and always used to know what to do when his friends are in danger. Pumba on the other side was a lovable character too where he had a good humour and a sensitive heart.
- SCAR
Though he was a part of Simba's family, then also he had those evil intentions for them just for the throne.
- NALA
Nala is the childhood best friend of Simba. Their friendship
bloomed into romantic adult relationship. Nala provides a guiding loving spirit
that is crucial to Simba’s success throughout childhood and adulthood in his
journey.
Nala was an encouraging friend and she had all those qualities of being a good friend and a supportive lover.
- RAFIKI
In times of great personal trouble , one could only wish to
have someone as eccentric, yet insightful as Rafiki to guide them to their
destiny.
It was Rafiki who guided Simba after his father's death and convinced him to accept the throne that was left by his father. Rafiki's character is full of benevolence and insight.
- ZAZU
The red billed hornbill who serves as a chief steward to
Mufasa and then Simba. Zazu is a loyal, diligent and dutiful guardian in the
right moments.
He never lets anyone under his care to get in trouble and he clearly cares for Mufasa and his son. Zazu is knowledgeable and diplomatic. He always used to take his responsibilities of royal advisor very seriously.
- SHENZI, BANZAI AND ED
Honestly, we can’t rank any of these 3 hyenas over the
other. The trio are a loyal followers and minions of Scar.
They are known for their sadism and haunting laughter. Also, they were forbidden from entering The Pride Lands due to their bad activities.
SO GUYS ARE YOU EXCITED FOR THE MOVIE? AND WHICH CHARACTER IS YOUR FAVOURITE?
